Anyone needing a digital portfolio, Im doing free lance work this summer, let me know if you are intrested. Price would be per job, and depending on the amount of work needed to be exhibited. Site catered to your style and type of work. Flash based. PM me for examples.

Why in the world would someone have another person do their digital portfolio?

That would be like having someone else write a resume and let you use it.

If you are a designer of any kind and don't have digital skills, you might as well hang it up and go dig ditches.

so if you are a photographer that develops everything by hand then you suck at life... or if you are an architect and don't know how to code buttons in flash or create a website then you suck at life too. If you are a painter, a sculptor, a furniture maker... i don't care... but if you don't know how to photograph your work well, have the facilities to scan in your work, or dont know how to post your work online you must suck and will "dig ditches" for the rest of your life according to the almighty Neon. But you know if you need my help with any of the afore mentioned I don't think you suck at life and I can help you do any of it.

Good point on the painter/scultpor. I didn't make the distinction between Designers and Artists.

You'd have MUCH better luck with this if

a) You posted YOUR digital portfolio

and

b) You were posting this on a site with designers/artists on it.

I'm in a design field, can render digital models and images, and did my portfolio in Photoshop and other design-based programs, but wouldn't know where to begin as far as designing a flash-based website.

point taken. I have some start up sites at my webspace for NC state. Its all my work from start to finish at State except for a few things Ive been working on on my own which I will be updating this week as well as the general layout of the site. I want to incoorporate a lot of the work I've done to create some really cool new portfolios. Not only would I be helping others get their work out there but help my personal skills and make a little cash in the process... win win.

^^SymeGuy69 there is a site that I did with car models that make them spin which would work well with 3D media that is on there too.

Thanks for the input guys... let me know if I can be of service.

heres the site: http://www4.ncsu.edu/~beallred/

You would have been better off not posting that site.

I really don't care what people have to say... If they want my help they will let me know. Im an architect so I am spending the summer creating a digital portfolio for myself for my work as well. The digital site that is there now is something I created sophomore year and have just been adding to it since then. The actual sites that are from ADN 419 and my studio in Australia are more of where my flash skills are now.

Yikes. Your site has so many basic design issues it's scary.

And Flash for web design is, 90% of the time, not the way to go. If you use it, it should be to aid in the communication, not the primary means of it.
