Heard this tonight on 88.1 and immediately wondered why I've never heard this one before. It sounded almost like Ben Folds being inhabited by the spirit of Billy Joel. Damn good song. Is there a studio version? Though the live one is almost perfect...

i'm pretty sure it was a ben folds five early demo that never saw commercial release, besides on that "Ben Folds Live" album.

^ Yeah he's right, it was from a demo before his first studio album. I think it's cool that he included something like that on his live album. Normally its just the big hits and an obligatory cover song.... few bands include b-sides/rarities.

Oh, and the song Emaline on that live album is from a band called Majosha that Ben was in before he started Ben Folds Five.... that is probably one of my favoriate songs on there.

It's "Silver Street," not plural.
