I have a 95 nissan altima and the ecm allows me to ger the codes off of it, I just need alist as to what they mean.. I used to have a shop manual on this car but in the move it disapeared.

1995 altima is ODBII equipped, so that would be easiest.
If you're determined to use MIL, here are the codes: http://www.troublecodes.net/Nissan/95ams96-00.shtml
However, I've only used MIL on the simple 2 digit 300ZX codes. I assume a code like P1148 would be 11 long blinks followed by 48?! short blinks. Have fun. More info here: http://www.troublecodes.net/Nissan/
