Going across statelines? ,, only thought about that when moving the real thing but i'm taking a trip to cali and i'm bringing one of those with me for fun.

california is currently attempting to outlaw all guns period....I don't believe that in any state a pellet gun is legally considered a firearm, but prepared to put up with a lot of shit should you be found with it in CA.

I would say no.

Even if it was 'legal', it would probably result in a ride with Officer Friendly if you got caught. In national parks, a firearm must be disassembled and locked up, preferably in the trunk.

Aside from Class III stuff, there are really no federal laws about you transporting your own firearms across state lines.

Just keep in in the trunk, and don't take it out around other people, and it should be fine. If in doubt, treat the pellet gun as a firearm.

Are you talking about lead pellets or plastic? CO2 or hand pump?
