"...That also includes sophomore center Cedric Simmons, who declared for the NBA draft but hasn't signed with an agent. Lowe has spoken to Simmons on multiple occasions. If there is any current college coach with a pulse on what NBA teams want, it would be Lowe after looking at this draft from an NBA perspective.

"I told him, 'Can you get drafted? Absolutely, but where no one really knows," Lowe said. "We're hearing mid-to-late first round, but I asked him, 'Do you want to just get drafted or be the best player in the draft? You're not a mid first-round player.' If you go into the draft, you should be in the lottery and he could be the first player picked so why settle on coming out now?""

When UNC fired Dougherty, did they clean house or bring in a whole new staff?

It'd be nice to win an NC in 2 years.

I put his article on auto-reload. We have to make sure that decent articles about us get more hits than negative ones. (will this work?).

jon fagg's a pretty funny guy. I was in a meeting w/ him once and he said, "if you ever need to get in touch with me, look me up in teh phone book. I'm the only fagg in there." at least he knows he's got a bad last name

^^^why are you even worried about insignificant hits on a website that is visited by tens of millions of people on any given day?

That article and the whole coaching staff just makes it seem like we have a head coach by committee. Three pretty good, would-be assistant coaches with one of them designated Head Coach.

Don't get me wrong, they compliment each other well

Tens of millions on a given day? so basically your saying that over half of the population in the US will have read his article before the week is over? and I was just going on what people were saying about the Doyle article, i.e. "don't click on it to give his page more hits"

^^espn.com gets tens of millions of hits a day, your "auto-reload" trick is insignificant, absolutely meaningless and accomplishes nothing

^^^ where do you get half the pop out of 10s of millions. its not the same person wont read it twice in the same week. the same bulk of that 10s of millions are reading espn.com over and over all week

i've seen you spell it that way before. just admit it. you don't really know that much about sports. it's ok. we've all figured it out already. now it's just time for you to admit it to yourself.

^^I'm talking about people that specifically read his article not just visit espn.com you dumb fucker.
Learn to fucking english too, k.

^^^you're assuming that they don't count hits to a specific page. millions of people do not read that specific article on a given day. Hence, your analysis is absolutely meaningless.
That's why everyone was telling people to avoid clicking on the link to doyle's article. All doyle has to do is write one article flaming state and hundreds of state fans will click on the link to read his shit.

look at it this way: they don't talk shit about appalachian or ecu or anything on a weekly basis.

any press is good press.

And anything that will be used to measure hits to a given page is going to be based on unique impressions, not just the gross # of HTTP gets. So your refreshing is absolutely meaningless.

Who cares how many hits the site gets. Any not negative press is good press right now for State. Fuck we are even getting flamed because Mario went #1. Bayless and Woody today at lunch again. WTF?? Fox Sports flamed us hard over the Lowe hiring (the same guy in two different articles).
