bmdurham, thanks for the link to that laptop deal. I was actually looking to help upgrade my friend's RAM as a favor, I'd be willing to spend $30-$40 to help out. My friend will get a new laptop later this year, maybe, but doesn't have a few hundred dollars to spare right now. Thanks anyway.

I believe the 600m uses PC2700 DDR SODIMMs. You'll find lots of people who can use that.
