I was actually in a movie league many years ago...

forgot the website but it was pretty fun.

It was just for the summer it was the year Godzilla came out...

I cant remember exactly what i had... maybe the truman show?


Oh yeah i had rushmore with bill murray. It was a salary cap league and that was my sleeper... dont think it did well though

yeah it was a long time ago thats why i cant remember the name of the website...

it was fun though...

It wasnt real intense there was a salary cap and like 50 movies to choose 5 from....

And all it was based on was total revenue for the first 2-3 weeks it was released...

so the key was to find movies that only cost like $25 million that ended up grossing ~$56...

i know what you're talking about. i thought of it when i read his column too. i used to play it when i was in high school. i bought american pie cheap and it grossed a ton. that was a fun game.
