It hasn't been getting good reviews, so I'm going to skip it.

Quote :
"Art School Confidential tells the story of shy, college freshman named Jerome who enrolls in art school to become the next Picasso. Having said that, this film is one of the funniest I have seen all year. Jerome’s classroom is filled with every stereotypical artist, who all think they know art better than everyone else. Jerome begins to fall in love with the classroom’s nude model, while still trying to impress his quirky teacher (John Malkovich) in order to get an art show of his own at the end of the year.

The second half of this movie is strange, however, when a serial killer begins to kill off people at random on the campus. The funniest part of this film is Jerome’s roommate, Vince, (Ethan Suplee from My Name is Earl and Remember the Titans) who is an underground filmmaker trying to make a film about the killer, even though he doesn’t know the first thing about making films.

The first half of Art School Confidential is hilarious, and the second half goes off on an interesting tangent. Still, this movie is definitely WORTH WATCHING. This movie is only playing in the art house theaters right now and will probably not go mainstream, so check it out while it’s still available.

Playing at 1:35, 4:10, 7:00, and 9:25 at Galaxy Cinema.

It's definitely got its moments, but....

saw it tonight at Galaxy...I agree with spookyjon, it did have its moments. Some parts were pretty funny but the whole film didnt fit together. Nevertheless, the preview for the devil and daniel johnston made the movie-going experience worth it. Is the Galaxy going to be getting it anytime soon?

^^ Yeah, I think we're getting it the first week in June. Not sure on that date, though.

this movie definitely started out better than it ended up, but it was worth it just for the first nude modeling scene with hobo joe. i was also kinda disappointed that nick swardson didnt have a bigger part, but overall it was a good time...
