hey, i cant find the button on autocad to show the distance between two points....im a newb at this shit so dont bash me lol thanks guys

So you want to Dimension a section of the drawing?

correct...i just want the dimensions to be shown on the drawling itself

i don't know what button to use in whatever toolbars load by default, you should learn to use the command line anyway.

i get the idea that this is a quick temporary means to an end.

to that i'd say just look for the dimensioning toolbar... learning the command line will be futile unless you plan on using it to be productive for a job/school

view -> toolbars -> dimensions

the first one on the left
