Thanks to project MJOLNIR, the SPARTANS are able to move even faster and stronger than before and can run at up to bursts of 55KMs/hr and have a reaction time of less than .0022 seconds and eventually with newer MJOLNIR armor, the SPARTANs get a recharging energy shied and the Master Chief even gets an on board AI to help him in the battle field. When the Covenant attacks Reach later in 2552, and Captain Keys (the pilot of the UNSC ship The Pillar of Autumn) has to evacuate from the battle field via SlipSpace and following the Cole Protole which states that the capture of a UNSC ship or AI is unacceptable and that the ship in question must select a random vector away from Earth to keep the Covenant from finding it. While Keys is playing in space, all the surviving SPARTANs are on Reach defending it and when the Autumn leaves Reach, the Master Chief believes all his SPARTAN team is killed... The randomly generated vector Keys and the Autumn take happens to be that same place where one of 7 of the Covenant's "Halos" is. This Halo is a super weapon that, if activated, will cause death to all sentient life in the galaxy to prevent the take over of the flood, a parasitic parasite that infects and takes over the body of any life form and makes it kill anything that is not flood. Although the Covenant do not know this because they did not build Halo, the Forerunners as the Covenant call them did. The Covenant think that if Halo is activated, the flood will be destroyed and all life that is worthy will live. Captain Keys if forced to crash the the Autumn on Halo to prevent the capture of his ship. The Master Chief, who was luckily on this ship when it abandoned Reach, is also forced too land on Halo. Now that you know the background... Halo: The Movie. The movie Halo (if the movie is in fact only based on the 1st game) is about Chief and the ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) or Helljumpers, the UNSC's next best soldiers behind the SPARTANs survival and ultimate destruction of Halo."

Got a huge halo rush today watching the halo 3 trailer

It looks like the author is concentrating on information from the books which is very good quality control. As well as Peter Jackson Directing it.

And it is going to be a trilogy, which lets me have a movie in the future to look forward to for the next 7 years now that LOTR and SW are "done"

Actually the guy who wrote 28 Days Later is doing it... that shows good potential in my opinion.

If they opt not to use his game voice, then they can use Vin Deisel in the suit. Hes big enough and his voice is actually very similar in tone and harshness.

if master chief has to go through training then he wont have a mask, plus i am sure there will be a lot of scenes where he doesn't have his mask on.

^7 ft. can be compensated for by camera angles, just look at half of tom cruises movies, it's hard to tell he is 5 ft nothing
