Took an ATI card from an older computer, it may be about 5 years old, cant remember
cleaned it up a bit, but noticed yellow blobs on that piece of the card





not sure if the spots were there before
any ideas on the cause? last I checked it was working alright, just thought the blobs were a little strange..
but maybe they've always been there?

Looks like flux, in which case it has probably always been there and it shouldn't affect operation.

You might be able to clean it up using rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips.
