Does anyone know of the cheapest ways (ie: through large programs, or independent things) which sends people abroad to either volunteer/intern/work for as little as a week to a few months? Im pre-med and spanish so looking to do something which I could use either or both concentrations. And yes, I should go to the NCSU study abroad office but I havent done that yet...besides, Im looking for something even less expensive and I dont necessarily want to stay abroad that long. Please enlighten me. post links if necessary. muchisimas gracias

nothing is easier than the ncsu study abroad office - go there. If you have good grades, you can get the $$$. Doing well in school opens so much doors.

I am biased towards India, because it's the most beautiful country in the world, though. 6/11/2006 3:17:00 PM |

I'd still like to go, though, just so I can say I went, saw, and conquered the filth.6/11/2006 5:00:26 PM |

well, I'd promptly ignore your comment since you've never travelled there.

I'll go on the travel reports of various friends and acquaintances, though. They had good things to say about the sights of India -- from the waist up. As soon as you look down, you see the trash, sewage, and people peeing on the street.
It's nothing to be ashamed of. It will get better over time.
