I have a factory head unit. (95 Toyota Corolla). Replacing the head unit is not something I want to do right now because it has cassette which i need for my ipod and a CD player. I'm gonna get one with AUX Input in a couple of months.

Anyway, factory, standard, old, head unit. I want to get the following speakers:
Audiobahn AS40Q
* Pair of 4-inch two way speakers
* 80 watts RMS/160 watts ACH power handling
* 90Hz-20kHz frequency response
* 93 dB sensitivity
* 15-ounce magnet
* Removable tweeter
* Built in crossover
* Butyl rubber surround
* Black carbon injection cone
* Two layer high-temp ASC voice coil
* 4 OHM impedance
* Polyswitch tweeter protection circuit
* Mounting hardware included

Will my head unit be able to power this? I picked this one because it has the highest sensitivity. And found this in a speaker guide: "Speakers with high sensitivity ratings (90 dB and up) require less power to play loudly, so they make good choices for pairing with a low-powered factory head unit."

So..it should work fine correct? Thanks

PS. I use these now and they work great. http://www.cerwinvega.com/products/mobileaudio/hed/hed142.html

a small amp to power the speakers would be a good idea

don't waste money on audiobahns. imo, they are hyped up junk. i had a set of 4x6's for my truck and they didn't last 6 months. i rarely turn my music up and wasn't over or under-powering them. i bought them because they were cheap. and they are cheap.

If their speakers are the same quality as their subs, it'll sound good for the first few months and then they'll blow-up. Best buy had blown a pair of subs twice in store in less than 3 months. You'd be better off getting cheap pioneers.

yes, good choice. but they'll be even a better choice if you decide to put some real power to them from an amp since they are power hungry.
