i just picked one up today. it ran good and was toolin around on it till it started leaking gas. leaks it from the clear tube in both of these picts. when i bought it and ran it around it didnt leak. now it does. does anyone know what the clear tube does, and what the prob can be?

Yea the Carb overflow. Either your needle valve isn't closing due to trash or float might be misadjusted or has a hole.

fixed it last night. a pin on the float fell out. it runs like a champ. im pretty sure i can buy a new carb for 20 bux thx though.

how long do these 50cc engines last if u keep the mixture right?

i dunno. i don't run a 50. i run a 4-stroke 110. with mods of course which is why i have a 19mm carb just laying here. i'm runnin a 26 nigga.

they are fun, but everything on them stock is absolute trash china parts, its not worth trying to "mod" any of the stock stuff, it will break with a quickness.
