i've got ants again damnit. last summer i used some traps and i think it helped. they're the small ants and they're are inside my house. does anyone have a particular brand they've used that works for sure? otherwise i'm just gonna buy a ton and plant them everywhere.

use a combination of ant killer stuff, last year I had set out the little ant motels, liquid bait placed on cardboard squares, ant motels / spikes for outdoors, powder/granules around the perimeter of my home, and liquid spray around places the powder wouldnt go

dont rely on just one type of bait alone

** also take and seal up any entrances / exits to your home where the ants are coming and going. I bought a small tube of white caulking from lowes and sealed up the tiny crevices between the baseboards and hardwood floors and around the perimeter of my kitchen.

The absolute best stuff I have found for ants is by, I think, Combat. Its a gel in a syringe-like applicator. It stays around much longer and they die instantly it seems. I tried baits, traps, spray, etc. This worked like a charm. I was surprised how little it took and that, unlike the sprays, the ants weren't repelled by it so it just kept killing.

I had a bad ant problem in my bedroom, but it has slowed down recently. Instead, there are a bunch of flying bugs that look like ants with wings. I was told these are termites.

The terra stuff worked like a charm until the lady poisoned her husband with it. It was great because the ants would take it back to their colony before it killed them off. Now they tamed it down and it isn't as effective.

If you are talking about just spraying the ants in your house (not the baits that kill the colonies) then try mixing a small dab of shampoo with water in a squirt bottle. It kills the ants on contact and it doesn't leave behind the odor/poison like a can of Raid.

concentrated boric acid... ants walk through it and then take it back to their colony and it kills the whole deal... I had carpenter ants in my last house... 1 application to the baseboards and the perimeter of my house and I never saw another ant... it also kicked cochroach ass in the beer pong room

my grandparents built their own house on land so i guess because of no clear cutting and orange dirt being brought in by a commercial developer like most subs the house was infested with the little tiny ants. they were everywhere. i used to play games and leave a cookie out on the deck during the summer come back an hour later that area (probobly about a square foot) would be completely black. i bet there were a trillion ants on that property. there were so many it was almost no point in fighting them because there would always be more. they tried terminex electromagnetic and everything but they just kept coming back.

Windex with ammonia, it's clear not traditional blue and works rather well. I love watching as they convulse and die in masses . But for real, doesn't smell too bad AND cleans the area. Just spray around window, door, etc.
