I don't know how I missed this, and it's probably [old] but Jeff Tweedy is doing a solo show in August on the lawn of the NC Art Museum. Got my tix yesterday.

i don't know. but jeff tweedy can play some acoustic. hot damn.

also: my friend's wife talked to the ncma people and got him an in to talk to jeff tweedy after the show because it was his b'day the next day. ha. got his copy of yankee hotel foxtrot signed.

but the show was cool, and i'm glad he was feeling self assured enough to talk back and forth with the crowd. sometimes he's a bit too nervous or has a migraine or whatever. i'm glad he did some cover songs as well...

i was really surprised at how many people showed up for it...didn't know there were that many fans in the area. maybe the last couple years of press with YHF and whatnot have turned more folks on to them.

quite possibly...too bad we don't get them through here all that often. although in the past 3 yrs wilco/tweedy has played 6 or 7 times in the area.
