Isn't channel 280 in Raleigh National Geographic in HD? 6/2/2006 10:59:02 PM |

That's Discovery in HD.
Time Warner's pretty slack in general with the HD though. They don't have WB 22 or UPN in HD, only Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC (and even then, they're a bit lower quality than pulling it through the antenna).

I get some shows in HD on the regular NG channel (70?). The Dog Whisperer is in widescreen HD (the newer ones anyways). 6/3/2006 8:39:35 AM |

UPN doesn't have an HD feed... WB22 isn't on TWC because Sinclair and TW can't make a contract deal.. although I hear they've been in talks for quite some time.. Maybe we'll see a CW-HD in the fall.. Makes me wonder if TW would be carrying Fox-HD if WLFL and WRAZ didn't switch affiliations back in the 90s.
an argument for being slack would be.. we don't have ESPN2HD, FSNHD, Starz-HD, Cinemax-HD 6/3/2006 9:40:02 AM |

^ You guys don't know "slack".
My Charter has TNT, Discovery, ESPN1 (not 2), HBO (premium), CBS, and ABC. Thats it.
No FOX in HD, no NBC, no WB, etc...
