I have a 19 inch MAG, but its not that model I don't think. Its been on the whole reliable. Sometimes though, when I have an IE window up, and only an IE window, the screen blurs and flickers around the top of the window. Its not the software or the computer itself, I took a screenshot when it was happening and the distortion wasn't there. Degausing didn't work, but if you tap the monitor on the top fairly rough, it goes away. I would recommend if you don't care to deal with that sometimes.

Ok, this is the Widescreen model of the westinghouse... So same price at 269 as the MAG widescreen monitor...

On the spec sheet, it says that this westinghouse monitor has 400:1 cd/m^2 and .285mm dot pitch
On the MAG specs, 300:1 cd/m^2 and .244mm dot pitch

Westinghouse also has D-Sub, DVI-D inputs, MAG only has D-Sub

Same max res., same contrast ratio, same response time, same frequency ....

SO the question is... does the dot pitch matter? and if the only other difference is the brightness, then what is the overall consensus on which monitor to buy?

Thanks for your input!

smooth crim hit it right on the head . i got rosewill 19" from newegg. nice monittor dvi 8ms, prefect reveiws etc. paid $220, good deal but i got my dell 19" for $236(samsung panel), for the $ the dell is much nicer. usb ports, swivel base, nice silver and black bezel, most importantly the image was more crisp not to mention brighter.
