so we're now halfway into the year and some pretty good albums have come out. some of my favorites so far are:

Islands- Return to the Sea
Murder By Death- In Bocco al Lupo
Ghostface Killah- Fishscale
I'm From Barcelona- Let Me Introduce My Friends
Final Fantasy- He Poos Clouds (nowhere near as good as Has a good home)


and i like the Gnarls Barkley and Raconteurs albums, i just wouldnt put them in my favorites category

whenever these threads come up I can never remember what came out that I liked and reviewing cd's is pretty much my job.

That live Melvins cd was pretty bad ass.

but im trying to find some good shit

i listen to 88.1 sometimes and when i hear a song i love i call their number and hit end on my cell

it saves the time so i can go home and see what song they were playing that i liked

agreed....but i dont think its because im a snob, i just havent heard anything i thought was halfway decent.

ive heard good stuff about stadium arcadium though, im gonna listen to it today.

that BTS is meh, belle & sebastian is borderline, havent listened to a lot of other stuff enough to judge yet...i'm pretty backlogged with albums to listen to
