It's about a future where all art is banned (interesting!!12#!) and all emotions are elimated through drugs (omg!!!0) and the government exerts its authority via sexy looking dudes in leather (outstanding!!!1@).

It also features the super-genius an in no way moronic concept of applying statistics to fighting.

the main fault I found with it is that it did try to copy the matrix too much

if you liked the concept of the matrix try watching dark city; it's a little weird and rough around the edges but quite interesting in regard to memories and such

i love how riot cops of the future are equipped with exploding face shields and that probability dictates that if there are four guys with guns in the room then doing a forward flip will place you in the exact location to take them out.

its an entertaining piece of shit and thats about it.

the plot is really stupid but the action is still worth a rent at blockbuster. i actually thought the plot was SO laughable that it added to the experience.

I just saw this tonight and goddamn you spooky, because I came here to post this:

In so many ways that it was as if it had a giant checklist of dystopian themes and was just going through the motions. But the nerd in me still thought the action scenes were cool. Not enough to redeem the movie, but still cool.

I thought this movie was in no-way like the Matrix, except for the somewhat dark lighting (which a lot of movies have).

I liked the concept though, but it lacked any subtlety (aka derivative). It was still somewhat entertaining. I take whatever half-decent Sci-Fi I can get (because most Sci-Fi movies suck).

The premise though is similar to V for Vendetta, but V was a tiny bit more cerebral.
