I think it'd be pretty difficult to expound upon or even duplicate any of the things that made the original creepy
This one falls under the category of 'movies never to be remade' for me

the trailer looks like their adding lots of cheap scare stuff just like they did to the omen

seriously....

this movie is terrible. I wanted to like it so much.

I'm a big fan of Cage and loved the original, but this movie is a horrible remake.

Honeslty it felt like they just did everything with one take and was like, "PERFECT"...except they were really wasted.

while not the best movie i've ever seen, its not the worst either. having never seen or read about the original, i have to say i didn't expect it to end the way it did. the "6 months later" part at the very end felt cheesy and tacked on as an after-thought.

also, i got there a little late and just missed the very beginning car crash scene. can someone explain the significance of that scene and why he keeps having flashbacks to it?

overall, i'll give it 3/5
