My ipod photo keeps showing up as folder with an exclamation. I tried following the steps on the ipod site, but I can't reset my ipod for some reason. Any help would be appreciated.

First, i'm not an expert. But I dropped my Ipod once, and it kept showing an exclamation !!!. I ended up with new HD for my Ipod Try google, there are lots of forums solving ipod issues.

Apple's usually pretty good about repair. Back up all your music and go on their site and request a shipping package and send it to them.

yea, but mine is out of warranty. I think the battery is dead or something.

I had the sad ipod show up the other day. If yours is out of warranty, they're gonna charge you $30 to ship it to em and $250 to fix it. My roommate fixed his just by opening the thing up and disconnecting everything and reconnecting it, it might be worth a shot.

Just try to seperate the white part from the silver part, theres some clips there holding it together.
