Anyone know of a place I might be able to scan a large picture? It is for a friends wedding and the picture that needs to be turned into a .jpeg is about 13x11 inches and all the places they have tried do not have scanners large enough.
Thanks for any help! Please post answers as I rarely check my inbox. 6/13/2006 10:04:16 AM |

University Graphics or possibly the design school might have something.
Also, what kind of resolutions/quality are you looking for? Wolf/Ritz Camera probably can digitize it with a NICE scanner. Otherwise, I've got a scanner at home that does 11x13 for 95% of things I would need done. 6/13/2006 11:33:05 AM |

If not, try JW Photo Labs. http://www.jwphotolabs.com/
Probably a bit $$$$, but they'll do a good job with it. 6/15/2006 11:30:28 AM |

^ Indeed. There's one one 14x17 Epson flatbed scanner that works like a charm. Free to use, take your USB drive to keep the file or email it to yourself.
They have like 20 "normal" sized scanners, but one large-format scanner.
BTW, use Photoshop to import it.
