last thing you want in your head is more distractions.

fuck some music.
if you are driving hard, pay attn to the road.

hell, pay attn, no matter how hard you drive

if im driving hard, im def paying attention to the road, scanning ahead, listen to my engine, getting road feedback etc.

but if im just crusing on the interstate, im prob listen to music thinking about what i have coming up etc. or getting road head

sometimes the mental jukebox gets goin, if its just a relaxing cruise in low traffic

and i do the over-analysis of turns on a regular basis too... glad to know i'm not the only one

It depends what I'm driving and where.

Just cruising, I'm usually thinking about what the hell ever is on XM.

My Ranger (can only cruise along) I'm usually going along with Opie & Anthony in the AM. On the ride home after work I'm usually thinking about how much more fun the drive would be in my Z-28.

In the Z-28 its all about the road and shit, unless I'm just cruising stoplight to stoplight in town. For the most part though I'm listening to the wind, the handling of the road, all that shit. Esp. if I start going fast. But for the most part I like to listen to some power metal or something like that when I'm doing driving like that.

a waggy only has dana 44s. and if i was gonna do an efi conversion, i'd do a 401 but even then i wouldn't want that. if i do axles again, it's 60's or 60/70 or 60/80. then i'll be good, at least for awhile

hahaha yeah... i really want an early bronco with an HD 9" in the rear (actually 10 and some change)
and a Currie 9" w/ dana 60 knuckles up front

then the typical manual driveline nv4500 atlasII 403 stroker (351) possibly with some boost
and full coilover conversion

/ dream rig.

well since i dont have a stereo right now(damn ass thieves), its pretty much listening to the engine, figuring out the most fun way to take the next corner, and watching out for all the other dumbasses on the road...

yes, i should have included portals on my list. i actually was thinking of them, but didn't put them on there. rockwells could also be included. but that'd be like last build of the tj. even w/ 60's i'd hopefully have a tow rig. workin on that one. maybe by the end of the summer i'll have a diesel truck. i'd love that

EFI 360 is gonna be much easier and cheaper to piece together than a 401. They're fucking hard to find.

When I'm covering long distances in the truck, I actually step it down. 55 or 60 is ideal, though it takes longer. I have to force myself to relax and enjoy the scenery.

She tops out at 75 on a straight, and will come close to 80 on a downgrade or with a good tailwind, but she'll beat you to death and deafen you.

When I'm driving hard I listen to the symphony composed by the car.

When I get off of work or go to work I usually listen to NPR.

On roadtrips I make special playlists.

most of the time im listening to the bike engine since i dont have tach's on either of mine. I'm also always watching for what dumb ass bitches will do. i "squint" my eyes while riding bc im concentrating on not getting hit avoiding shit etc..

very few times i open my eyes and realize what a nice day it is or some gay shit like that. usually when that happens im not paying attention to my full abilities and some fag cuts me off where i slam on the loud car horn mounted to the hawk or just cruise right next to them flicking them off for the next couple of miles.
