yeah, um if you would have told me in october the canes (picked to battle washington for last in the east) would have one game to play at home for the stanely cup, I'd have kissed you. It's not fucking over, everyone stop acting like cunts.
The Panthers and the Hurricanes are still very young and both have had pretty good success for being young franchises. Whatever happens tommorrow night, The Canes have overacheived incredibly this year. Unfortaunely, we live in the era of "championship or bust!"

i agree. with regards to pro sports, NC is a giant band wagon. i guess all the transplants have alot to do with that, but jesus we chased off a basketball franchise. we have a hockey team that has a damn strong chance to win 2 of the past 3 stanley cup finals.

quit hating and show some loyalty. we can be pissed that they dropped the ball, but all this "fuck the hurricanes/bobcats/NCSU sports team" is premature at best, and more to the point, the height of the aforementioned douchebaggery.
