That was definitely one of the best, and most memorable nights of my life. I watched it at a friends

house off of Hillsborough St. with 3 girls and 4 other guys. As soon as they won, me and the four

other guys put on some red athletic shorts, and had one of the girls write some stuff on our chests

(i.e. Cane Are #1, Canes Are The Champs, etc.). We told the girls to get a car so that we can head

to the RBC Center. While they got a car, the guys ran down Hillsborough St. We were the first ones

out there yelling and stuff, getting cars to honk. So the girls pick us up at one of the mart parking

lots on Hillsborough. So we've got 8 people all crammed into a sedan. The girls dropped us off at

the Vet School, so that they wouldn't get stuck in traffic, and went back to get another car. They

said that Hillsborough exploded with cars when they went back. So we (the 5 guys) start running

down Trinity getting people to honk. The cars were just starting to leave. I got all the way to the

tree at the entrance to the Fairgrounds lots, and had to power puked. I puked 3 quick times. I

wasn't drunk, but I had drank some, and had only ate a couple of hot dogs, and some other food

that day. So running with all this liquid sloshing around in my stomach and only a little bit of food,

made me nauseous. After puking I felt great and ready for more running. So we are running through

the Carter-Finley parking lots, getting people pumped. When we got there, some of the people,

barely looked like they were excited. We were high-fiving people left and right. We get to the front

of the RBC Center where the stage is set-up. The band just started playing. We were rocking out,

and going batshit crazy. One of the girls that was there, just randomly was like, hey take a picture

with me. I guess she wanted to get a pic with one of the shirtless guys for when she recounts

her story to friends later. After we got into the crowd, I noticed that more guys started

to take their shirts off. Toward the end of the performance by the band I started yelling, "RIOT ON

HILLSBOROUGH" and "LET'S RIOT!" So we go back to the house, and one of the guys, and two of the

girls had to leave. I down a cup of water, b/c now my throat hurts from all the yelling. But the

nights not over yet. We (the one girl, the 3 guys, and myself) head out to Glenwood South after

just a few minutes. We get to Glenwood South and immediately see a girl flashing her boobs on the

bed of a pickup. What a great way to start that out. So Glenwood South is blocked off,

and people are just running around going crazy. And there we are the shirtless guys yelling "Canes

#1" and high-fiving more people left and right. People were holding up copies of the News &

Observer that said "It's Ours". One guy had an awesome home made cup with an aluminum trash can

base. Fires had been started before we got there. Oh man what a night!

glenwood was insane...we went out there immediately after the game and there were a handful of people on the streets...within the hour there were thousands...quite a few fires
