This demo is gonna have 5 levels of the single player, and 2 multiplayer maps.

Wow - what a generous demo!

This comment reeks of sarcasm. Instead of giving you anything at all, they could have not given you shit and let you buy the game.

Wtf?

I just said it was generous? Why the tude? How many demo have you seen give more than a level or two? Not many I suspect. If they did not give out a demo, it would not have mattered. I could have just as easily waited for its released and purchased it. Dude, you are insane if you think that that was sarcasm - you might need to get that checked out.

I have an Athlon64 3200+ 512 ram and onboard nVidia GeForce 6150. Should I even bother downloading and installing this tonight?

It's probably my shitty computer, but the mouselook response time sucks, thus making the game pretty frustrating.

I'm sticking with Unreal.

I'm surprised they've made it this far.

Hell, it's only, what, 8 years behind schedule?

def. worth the download, graphics are amazing, game play and interaction is fairly innovative with gravity changing all the time, this demo's not for the weak stomach (motion sickness).

played through the demo last night (takes maybe an hour)
it's alright, pretty fun. i like the little death mini-game as it takes some of the stress off. i probably wouldn't buy it, but partly because i already have a few games to work on.

damnit im stuck its shortly after you get the spirit walk you come into a room and it rotates clockwise and you fall into this place with glowing insignias on the wall and what looks like a door but i cant open it.
i am not sure how to get out of the damn place

the demo flopped to me.

first of all the graphics are just 'standard' 360 graphics - nothing special. moreover, the animations in this game sucks, notably, the animation which he sticks his hand out to interact with the environment (eg. to press a something to open a door). To add to this, it just doesn't feel like i have the 'grip-proper' on my character that so many fps's have executed so well in the past - his movements seems so slippery as you turn him from side to side.

The game, however, does have slightly innovative features and ideas, eg. gravity engine, portals, and the mini-game after death.

i only see this game getting an average review score of 7.5/10.

disclaimer - this is a demo, so i have to to see the full game to make a real assessment, although, as seen in the past with other demos, the demo is very similar to the actual game.

^I'd have to agree.

The gravity and environments are cool, but short-lived. The story does seem cool, but is it enough to counter the average controls and graphics?

8.0/10
