how do i program a tramsitter for Omega Mundial2 alarm system? i found a manual for mundial (1), it says turn on the ignition and press valet button five times withing 10 sec> confirmation long siren> then press the large button on remote>another confirmation siren. numdial2 in question got 3 buttons, not two. also i cannot get the system to go into the programming mode (do not hear the long siren if i follow the instructions for munidal 1). the last thing once i put the battery inthe tramsieer the LED on the tramsitter is off, but as soon as i press any button it comes on and stays on. is it awaiting to be programmed? anyhow if you guys got any suggestions or anyone seen a owners manual online i appreciate it. 6/23/2006 11:34:23 AM |

I am not familiar with the Omega Mundail2 alarm system, but I do know DEI alarms. - First thing to check if a car will not go into program is to make sure you have connected the right ignition wire to the alarm. That way the alarm is definitely receiving 12volts when in the ignition position
- Second, I could not find the manual you were talking about, but most alarms you need to turn the ignition on and then back OFF and press the button w/ in a certian time period. On DEI's you actually turn the ignition on/back off/ and hold the valet button down until the siren sounds. If your alarm only has one programming menu then you should just have to hit the button the number of times to get to the feature you want and hold on the next. For example to get to feature 4, hit the button 4 times hold on the fith and the siren should sound 4 times and then hit button 1 or 2 depending on what you want to change the feature 2.
If you have any more questions send me a link to the manual u found. 6/23/2006 1:49:15 PM |

you can buy a new actuator and install them into your doors and still use the factory switch... if you just want your power locks to start working again... 6/23/2006 6:30:08 PM |
