I'm surprised there isn't a thread for this movie. I for one am very interested in the movie. I loved Spanglish, and am thrilled Sandler's taking it a little more seriously in his films. Planning to see it tonight. Besides it's got Christopher Walken in it. And apparently Sean Astin in Speedos. I know you TWW men want to see that.

You guys are crazy. I just got back from seeing it - I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wow it's only 29% on rottentomatoes. I'm honestly really surprised because I thought it was pretty good. Very entertaining.

So it was cool he liked it as well.

Oh, and in no way was I reminded of other movies with similar types of themes, as many critics seem to be pointing fingers at this film for - it's enough of its own movie, and I wouldn't have even thought of comparing it to those other films. People who can't just sit down and enjoy a movie that basically works need to relax.

^I agree, I just tagged along with my roommates because I was just looking for something to do tonight. I wasn't expecting much but I was impressed, it turned out to be a damn good movie.

Kate was amazingly hot in this movie.

Click was actually pretty damn funny and Sandler even had some serious scenes.

Don't read any further if you consider a subtle hint a spoiler...
but for a comedy you really felt like you were on an (as one person said) "emotional rollercoaster" at the end. like 15 minutes of really sad shit followed by 5 minutes of funny ending.

Saw it. Thought it was OK. Didn't have strong feelings either way. The wife liked it. I thought going into it that it was a comedy, but didn't realize how depressing it would be.

For once I agree with gargs. Sandler tries too hard, which automatically makes him not funny to me. Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were great, but mainly because they are classics. I just find him to be "meh."

Also, I'd rather watch The View than go see this movie.

VERY predictable... INCREDIBLY predictable...

but overall worth seeing... had several really funny parts... then it became kinda depressing... then being predicable gave him a second chance on life... and the end involves 2 dogs humping an oversized stuffed duck and him bagging Kate Beckinsdale who runs around in boxer shorts for 80% of her screen appearances.

Christopher Walkin, David Hasselhoff, Rudy, and Harry Winkler... I mean those guys were secondary parts but given my group of friends they made me laugh hysterically...

This movie is horrible and Sandler spends a lot of time in his familiar acting roles, which I don't think is funny. I can't believe that someone just said Sandler was a better dramatic actor than Jim Carrey, Sandler isn't anywhere near Carrey's level.
