Czarnecki all the way. I took him and loved that class. Granted, you don't LEARN a lot by listening to his lectures, it's a definite break from hardcore classes and he makes ya laugh by telling random stories that are quite comical.

NO, Czarnecki is a fucking idiot.
I hate his guts. He is the worst excuse ever for a business professor. 6/25/2006 9:37:36 PM |

czarnecki was awesome...you won't learn shit. you'll do small assingments each week, taking about an hour of your time...he basically just tells stories and shit during his class, you don't learn a lot, but it is fun. participate and you'll do well. i got an A in there and didn't do more then 13 out of class hours of work ever.

^^ Hah, only if you hate the fact that you get a break in your otherwise tortorous schedule. C'mon, this class is a joke and it feels good to be able to chill in a class for once. Besides, you can learn as much as you want by reading the book for this course...which does an excellent job of restating the same paragraph over 4,503 times. 6/26/2006 6:24:16 AM |

Ok fine, czarnekci may be the easiest 480 professor in the business department. No one learned anything about business in that class except for this one key piece of advice from Dr. Doolittle, oops i mean czarnecki: Find someone who looks successful, and grab onto their coattails. I mean seriously, wtf. That is what this guy is teaching our business students. If i were you ncsubunny I would try to take this class at UNC and just transfer the credit hour for the following reasons:
1. does NOT read any paper you turn in. He will basically determine around the first week if he likes you and give you the SAME grade on every paper for the rest of the semester.
2. This fucknut does not know ANYTHING about business policy and strategy.
3. He basically tells his students that rather than work hard, you should try to latch onto someone elses success.
4. One day last semester in his 480 class, he comes in with some envelopes from his office. No big deal, he just needed some envelopes to use in class. Oh yeah, he misspelled Cary as CAREY on his envelopes.
RCC and Associates Wealth Management Carey, NC
I MEAN WTF, who the fuck in their right mind would let this guy manage their money. He can't even spell cary correctly. 6/26/2006 5:47:40 PM |

C'mon bro, be honest here. This is the most true thing EVER in business. Do you think the majority of CEO's got where they are due to hard work or even *gasp* knowledge? Highly doubtful. It's all in who you know, and keying in on how other people are succeeding and copying that.
You also forget the mention the man is old as dirt, he's not as sharp as some 40-year old professors we have here in regards to spelling.
And the fact that you mentioned taking a course at UNC immediaitely eliminates any and all credibility. 6/26/2006 7:12:24 PM |

ok ok fine i admit i am a little pissed because I earned an A+ in Czarneckis class and he gave me an A. Also, i think Czarneckis class is full. Based on the remaining professors, I would take Padilla. Hes supposed to be pretty cool. Definitely do NOT take YOUNG or PALIN.
My list of Best to Worst 480 professors:
1. Padilla 2. Tyler 3. Czarnecki 4. Young/Palin
...and yes, Czarnecki is probably the easiest A 6/26/2006 7:57:32 PM |

It's no wonder C-money's class got full first. It's also no wonder they'll be open spots for months for Young's class.
Delay graduating a semester before taking Young...I mean, take a fist to the nose before taking Young. 6/26/2006 8:15:06 PM |

just be glad young's not teaching that stuff.....
and that should open it up to a whole 'nother can of worms. 6/27/2006 9:32:36 AM |

^ Never heard of him...I'd wager that no 480 teacher will be better than Czarnecki. Seriously, he's a once-in-a-major experience. 7/6/2006 3:48:47 PM |

McFadyen is great. she is a bit of a scatter brain, or at least she was in the late afternoon. She says that she is a lot better in the mornings. She will probably come into class and tell everyone that if you are not a senior, drop her class. That her average test grade was a low C.
I think a lot of that is a scare tactic, which she somewhat fessed up to late in the semester.
if you do take her class, and she still does the paper, DO NOT LET YOURSELF FALL BEHIND! Do the paper along with the class, and you should be fine.
Send me a PM if you have specific questions. 7/6/2006 6:44:43 PM |

I'll sum this up:
MacFayden: Great prof if you have a lax schedule and are just begging for another fairly intensive class.
C-Money: just wanna chill all semester & get an A...well, I mean there is a lot of work involved, just doesn't require that much "thinking"

I mean does it really matter what teacher you get, either way your going to be thrown into a massive room of 280 people where you'll fight to stay awake as the teacher drones on powerpoint slides, with the only excitment of the batteries running out in the microphone every damn day, and the teacher's frustration with it. Get in what ever you can, minus Young's class, there'll always be room in there till the end of the semester......I've seen people cry over that teacher 7/11/2006 8:35:29 PM |
