i don't think this is going to become some new trend or anything if that's what this thread is about

i think they're just doing this because they're releasing the tracks individually over an extended period of time

either way, its dumb

i like it as an art concept

exactly, nobdoy is going to think that if they're getting the music for free, they can save their money and buy the covers.

People will either get the whole thing free, or pay regular price

i see the consumer burning the first song on the cd - waiting for the 2nd song - burning it and getting mad

the typical cd player will still only play the first time it's burnt - unless it's a cd-rw perhaps - which still some cd players can't play
