why did the hockey playoffs inspire them to start sucking more than usual? were they jealous wrdu had no competition in the classic rock genre?

i mean their commercials say things like "locally owned with no home office generating playlists" but they still play red hot chili peppers at least twice an hour.

and im not sure i can stomach any more scorpions.

the radio sucks. don't listen to it. it's what's wrong with the music industry. they play crappy music because it's cheap and people listen to it because they won't take the time to go find better music and listen to it on their own.

I listened to 96rock for like six months when it was brand new (7-8 years ago?) and they had no commercials, just one DJ and a phone to take requests. Granted, I was listening to lots of Nirvana and Metallica and shit back then, but there was little to no repetition and they were playing lots of album cuts. After that, they started playing shit like Creed and it was game over.
