Situation:
I'm in Minnesota right now visiting the in-laws. I have no luggage.
No clothes. And I didn't think Minnesota would be that hot. It's hot, muggy, and my clothes is drenched in sweat. I had to wear my brother-in-laws clothes... he's 14 ... let's just say my clothes are kind of tight right now.
No hygiene materials. Stinky breath . I need to go buy a tooth brush.
I gave them an address to send my luggage to if they ever find it. Their automated system says they have my luggage and it was supposed to be delivered this morning. Nothing showed up. Called customer service. On hold for 20 minutes. Called again. And again. And again. And again. And again. No one answered.
Possible Solution#1: Complain. Then on the return flight piss all over the bathroom on the plane. And take pictures and post them on TWW.
Possible Solution#2: Complain. Then on the return flight pick my boogers and wipe them on the wall and take pictures of it and post them on TWW.
Possible Solution#3: Don't even complain. Then on return flight pick my boogers, piss all over the bathroom, and carve the words "US Air sux" on the arm rest... and take pictures of all them and post them on TWW.
Please suggest other solutions (both legal and illegal).

Call again, ask to speak to someone of authority like a manager/supervisor, yell a bunch that it's unacceptable and that you will be sure to tell all of your friends and business associates to never fly US Air again and that you are a longtime customer and are appalled at their poor service and that you will NEVER fly them again. Key things being Never Fly Again and Tell Everyone You Know, corporations go apeshit for that kind of stuff. They'll probably give you a bunch of frequent flyer miles or something. 7/1/2006 1:55:21 AM |

Call and request that you can go buy some clothes and they pay for it. I've done this with with my girlfriend before. She got about $180 of free clothes... It was an international flight though, might be the same for domestic. 7/1/2006 10:24:42 AM |

Go somewhere (not Neiman Marcus ) and buy what you need until your luggage arrives. Keep the receipt. If your expenses are reasonable, the airline should reimburse you.
Next time, pack a change of clothes and toiletries in your carry-on bag. 7/1/2006 3:46:21 PM |

They finally got it to me, but 2 days late ...
After two days of calling over and over I finally get in contact with a US Air representative. They said they tried to deliever it. But, they said their was road construction and they couldn't find the place. And then they tried calling me, but said that I didn't answer. Go figure...
First of all, road construction shouldn't stop you from delivering my luggage. It's not like the road was closed off. Secondly, my phone charger was in my luggage, and the talk time on my cell phone is about 2 hours (about the total amount of time I spent on hold). My phone was dead by the time they called.
... I'm still thinking of doing something and posting a picture of it. Pics coming soon. 7/3/2006 2:37:55 AM |
