Silly question i know, but if someone happens to collect and knows a ballpark figure for what some stuff might be worth, it would be appriciated (PM me).
Basically I'm trying to sell off a lot of things from my childhood on craigslist/ebay but want a rough idea of what's fair to ask for it. I wasn't going to ask much till about 4 people told me that some of what I have is hard to find stuff and collectors probably would want it. 7/4/2006 4:45:49 PM |

Try checking the library or Barnes & Noble for a Barbie book, here's a list: http://www.barbiecollector.com/collecting/value.asp
Otherwise I guess if you're trying to sell them on eBay and craigslist strictly you'd be best off checking for that doll on eBay and finding out what they're going for. If that doll/item isn't listed you probably have a good chance at selling it for a decent price, and one of those books could tell you more about how rare it is. Amazon is probably a good place to check too, for current selling prices.
Also Google websites of doll dealers to get a general idea of what a doll is going for, such as http://www.barbiecollector.com/collecting/value.asp
Here's my Google search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=barbie+pricing+collector
Keep in mind that if the dolls aren't mint in box, you won't get as much for them. I dunno about you but I definitely opened my dolls when I was young, and got a lot of playtime out of them.

^ These are out of box, but they arent the dolls (well those are there too ..but not the point), they're things like the playsets, townhouses, etc. I can't find any record of 90% of it having been sold on Ebay after checking the completed and current listings. Thanks for the links and ideas on how to get the values though!
