I hate it when people come to my region and spend money. I don't want any new money to enter our economy. 7/5/2006 11:56:17 AM |

I spent five years in Tampa. You know how they say "welcome to smallville?" Well, in Tampa night clubs, we say, "Welcome to Doucheville."

They're fucking up our gun laws.
Honestly, they move down here for the low crime rates and taxes and reduced government intrusion, and then set about taking all measures possible to reverse those.

Lower crime rates? Not compared to where I'm from. I'll agree to the lower taxes though. 7/5/2006 4:43:54 PM |

Blame the Raleigh and Cary planning commissions.
I will say one thing though, RPD has the NYC style rolling army thing down pat. 7/5/2006 4:45:38 PM |

I'm a native of Cary; I grew up right off of Walnut Street between what is now Cary Towne Center and Crossroads -- back when Walnut Street was two lanes. My parents had lived there since the mid-70s when it was a small town. Now I avoid the city as much as I can. 7/5/2006 5:07:51 PM |

Raleigh still has non-bitchy Sheriff's dept (shall issue, minimal hassle) and open carry (theoretically, anyway). Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill are all cesspools of leftist politics. 7/5/2006 7:00:22 PM |

I've spent 99% of my existence in Cary. I grew up in the same spot, although probably on the opposite side of walnut street. We were there since the mid eighties when walnut street was also still two lanes.
I swear, just the early nineties started to fuck that place up, lol.7/5/2006 7:24:56 PM |
