Where can I find pricing info on old/rare books?
I'm unpacking, and I have some really old books (one has a date of 1869, and publication was 1857 for that edition) that I picked up at a sale in downtown raleigh a year and some change ago.
If these are worthless, i'll give them to my mom for craft projects, which was my original intent. I'd like to find out.
I'm finding some sites that list books to find the price of books, but that's not really helpful at the moment. 7/9/2006 12:52:04 PM |

Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm searching the databases on the sites I've found, and nothing is coming up.
The titles I have, in case anyone here has a starting answer: Polly Anna, and my best guess is somewhere from 1913 (publication) - 1930 Elson Grammar School Reader - Book four, either grade. Copyright 1909, intro 4/09 The American Popular Dictionary of the English Language, Illustrated. Handwring inside the jacket is 1886, and the publication date is 1884. New Normal Fifth Reader - publication 1878, and some handwriting with the date Oct 14, 89. I'm guessing it's not 1989 McGuffy's New Fourth Eclectic Reader, with a handwritten date of 1869, enlarged edition, publication 1866
