Has it been sitting around for months? Might just go ahead and replace it. 7/9/2006 3:07:45 PM |

Most auto parts stores can get you a 1 amp battery charger/maintainer. Expect to pay anywhere between 15 and 50 bux, depending on where you get it and its quality.
Hell, I'd be tempted to take one of the bajillion wall adapters I have and use it fer a charger. Long as it's 12 volts... 7/9/2006 4:27:19 PM |

You should try it. 7/10/2006 12:11:01 AM |

doesnt take 5 min to recharge from 1 start, why do you think you need a charger? 7/10/2006 9:46:26 AM |

Ive got the same problem with mine at the moment. Normally there is no problem, but your screwed if you let it sit for a minute with it not running. If you put any load on it all like leaving the headlights on or much of anything youll have a hell of a time getting it started.
For some reason a new battery on that bike costs fucking $120. 7/10/2006 7:45:31 PM |

a battery tender will not charge a battery. it will only maintain a charged battery. 7/12/2006 8:58:23 AM |
