based on "deferred prosection..."

Soooooo, lemme get this straight. Because he was accused of committing another crime, he gets punished for "breaking" the agreement of a diversion program? Sounds like some bullshit to me...

He was accused of committing a rape. I agree that being accused of something shouldn't count as "committing another crime." But he also admitted to underage drinking at that infamous party...and, under the deferred prosecution system, they can pretty much do whatever they want...they're doing you a favor...and you're not supposed to fuck around...
Interesting fact: underage drinking is not a criminal offense in DC...but Finnerty did it in NC, where it is a criminal offense so he still committed a criminal offense...
(And he's getting it appealed so hold your horses...)

people with clean records get treated best. thats common sense.
notice how we have a white male here. thinly veiled racism.
you get yourself tangled up in shit with the law, your prior shit is gonna get worse. it happens all day long, every day, to everyone.

So "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't mean anything to you, or this judge for that matter? 7/11/2006 8:53:19 PM |

and let's be clear:
his conviction, for a crime he was found guilty of mind you, is six months probation. 7/13/2006 2:56:10 PM |

well, he shoulda thought about the conditions of his probation before he went off and broke the law again. underage drinking, like it or not, is against the law. 7/14/2006 8:08:18 PM |

^^It definitely sucks. BIG TIME. That's why you don't fuck around when you're in the program.
