well I get free towing from my insurance, I was just wondering if anyone had some good experiences with the towing, not the accident. Oh, and the back wheel does not really move because the chain is locking it up. That is really the only reason why I want it towed I think I could drive it if that were working.

does you insurance co. specify a company? if not, then just call several and ask if they tow motorcycles. pick one. i recommend Dunns.

my back tire locked up. I do not think I let the break out but the next thing I know I was on the ground. There was more traffic today and the stopped traffic was further back than in the past.

dunns is good, as well as east coast towing. if you have AAA, it will be east coast.

Oh god damn. That is damn near the EASIEST four-banger bike that Honda ever built. The single cam 750.

Rear drum brakes are not very fun to work on, but they're no different from a lot of the later ones. What a bunch of pussies.

What it is...they know you're gonna balk at their astronomical labor rates for fixing such an old bike.

I ain't necessarily talkin' about YOU doing it...if you've never done something like that, it's best left to somebody who knows what's going on. Shit'll kill ya if you fuck it up. It behooves you to proceed with caution if you do it yourself.

But a shop shouldn't be a bunch of bitches like that. They basically see it as a HUGE liability that they won't make shit for money on. A lot of shops that work on cars view older basketcases that way. A pain in the ass that doesn't make any money. Get it out the door before you do anything to it and hope to God it doesn't come back.

I had just figured out how to ride it so that it did not stall on me, I did not realize that I needed to keep the choke out for longer. It was really annoying for a while but now it has started to be fun to ride in the mornings even when it is cold...

I actually called them a while back but luckily I do not think that they remembered me. They said I had a cylindar not firing but it was just the whole choke thing I believe.

make sure they bring a flatbed truck. When you ask for a tow truck, they'll prolly send a normal car tow truck that doesn't do good for motorcycles. Idiots

Actually, a regular tow truck is great for towing bikes IF you know what the fuck you are doing.

Drawn and quartered. It has to be a truck with a cable boom AND a wheel lift, though.
