So I'm looking at new motherboards, I really need to upgrade mine. Since I don't have money to completely rebuild my system, I'm going to just get a motherboard that's compatible with what I have.

Here are my requirements:
Socket A processor
Not VIA chipset

I have found these which one should I get or do you guys have any other boards that you recommend? or am I just better off waiting until I can get some more $ and completely rebuild?

Better off waiting since AM2 just came out like a month ago.

I don't really know what you think you'd gain from a mobo upgrade considering that nearly all of the rest of your components will have to be upgraded to match the requirements of a new mobo (particarly Processor, RAM, and PCI->PCIe ). Buying a new mortherboard that will support your DDR and Socket A chip won't get you anywhere except prevent you from making *real* upgrades later on

I don't really need to upgrade anything else, my main reasons for upgrading now is that this motherboard doesn't get along with my tv tuner and I somehow just killed my 2nd power supply in a year, something is wrong.

Yeah, replacement rather than upgrade, sorry

so we're talking more replacement than upgrade.

Go to tiger direct and find one that suits the rest of your hardware
