^^ In charge? Dave Grohl is still in charge, like always. Pat left in 1997. They were playing on the marquee of Radio City Music Hall (or some other marquee in NYC, I forget), and he said "that was my last song" and a new lead guitarist came out and played the next song. I forget his name, but he's in the "My Hero" video. They've switched one more time since then, I think.

Franz Stahl replaced Pat Smear.

Dave Grohl used to/still has a house in Corolla. Apprently in Monteray Shores. His sister used to also manage a coffee shop around there called the Flying Saucer.
