Hi All. My cat, Charlotte, is in need of a new home. She's got two feline brothers, and they don't get along. Her brothers 'play' w/ her, and she views their playfulness as an attack. It's getting to the point that Charlotte is screaming like a human when they come near her. I'm very worried about her well-being.
Charlotte is a very, very sweet kitty. She knows her name, loves to be loved and enjoys playing with humans. She's not a clingy cat, but if she's the only cat in your household, she will definitely become your companion. She is short, grey and has stripes/spots. Her feet and belly are white. She's very pretty!
If anyone can help out, I'd appreciate it!!
A picture of her is in my gallery. 7/16/2006 9:24:24 PM |

the little fucker hid my keys under the recliner and made me an HOUR late for work, he keeps me up ALL FUCKING NIGHT begging for food, he scavenges in the trash can and licks wrappers, it's disgusting. he also likes to jump up and dig his claws into curtains and dangle, either tearing the curtains or leaving huge snags. he's ruined a $200 silk duvet, shit ON my pillows, puked all over the carpet, ugh this cat is the devil. 9/6/2006 12:19:43 PM |

Is she used to being outside at all? Not 100% outside but like 50/50. My roomate/bestfriend's mom's cat is hitting 16 and we agree she needs a new kitty since old one is going to kick the bucket. 9/10/2006 9:57:24 AM |

She's never been outside and I'm not sure how she would do. She loves sitting in a window, though. I think she would be perfect for someone's mother because she's so sweet and docile. 9/12/2006 11:11:10 AM |

seaspunky - have you ever thought about "donating" your cat to an animal higher up on the food chain - that way you wouldn't just be "wasting it" 9/14/2006 8:38:43 PM |

Meatstick... your friend's mom's cat can have another decent 4-5 years before he/she "kicks the can", I've known a lot of cats that live at least until their 20, hours lived to 22 and was fine until the last year. While trying to help Charlotte out is a nice idea, you would be hurting the older can and possibly forcing her to keel over sooner, especially if she has been an only cat all her life. 9/15/2006 12:56:45 PM |

^^ just make sure you closed the door at nap time/overnight in case the cat wants to snuggle - or get one of those canopy things from babies-r-us (not that expensive). We have two cats, one which we had before the first baby was born and the other we got only a month or so before, and they're both fine. I think it's more of a problem with older cats who aren't used to being around children. 9/26/2006 2:42:59 PM |

Yes, I think Charlotte would love to have a baby friend! She's really good w/ kittens and takes on a sweet mothering personality.
