331, eagle rods,scat crank. using my old gt 40p heads rpm perfomer II intake and getting a new e330 cam . lift is 286 i think and just bought a vortech s -trim blower. good for about 6-7 pounds of boost. more pics to come as soon as i get the heads back from the shop 7/17/2006 8:02:03 PM |

e cam? meh...p heads, bleh...why don't you just wait and put some decent heads on, a custom cam would be nice too, since you've got a decent short block and all

6 psi is pretty good on 10.5-1 compression, those jean shorts are melvans at fast lane, and i dont know who did the block. who ever does fastlanes machine work. t hoff will be doing the heads. an e cam is probly the best set up for the street with a 6 psi blower and 42lb injectors. and its been about 2 months scince ive driven the thing between havin the money to throw parts on it and shit. the blower it self set me back $2400 with methanol injection and a cooler and the bottom end alone was about $3200. as soon as i get it together im taking it up to fastlane to have them dyno tune it, and i will be sure to post numbers 7/18/2006 4:45:30 AM |

I had a bad experience with THoff (assembled a head incorrectly). Joel and me have both had good luck with HRT racing up in Durham (http://www.handcraftedracing.com).
