I lost the key to my malaguti scooter. Has anyone gone through the process of getting a new one?

i called a locksmith to make a key but he said he would have to take the ignition apart so i am trying to find out how to get the key code right now.

shit is frustrating i just want to ride my scooter

^malaguti is supposed to be the best scooter made

i hot wired it so atleast i can ride it but i am afraid someone might steal it

or you can get a cheap aftermarkert ignition lock at advance
