I'm looking for a nice, respectful roomie who is moderately clean and not scared to have fun once in a while. The house is located in a very nice neigborhood called Cornerstone Park. It's a newly developed area close to the RTP and the Airport (near all of the major highways). Close to UNC/NCSU/Duke (10-15 min drive). I'm a UNC student and the drive is short in my opinion, and the drive to NCSU is even shorter. It's also on Glenwood Ave, so it runs STRAIGHT into downtown (or you can go the opposite way and it runs into the heart of Durham). It is close to big shopping areas like Brier Creek - Super Walmart, Target, Movies, all the great Dining Areas...also right down the road from Crabtree Mall. There's a grocery store, gas station, and eateries/pubs (walking distance) that just got built.. plus for young professionals. It's just in a very good location...if you saw it, you'd agree. The neighborhood has a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts. It's a 3-bedroom house..3 BA...equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, fully furnished and stocked, a garage, LOTS of storage space. There's a maintenance crew who cuts the grass and keeps the bushes trim, and the house looking good. The living room has nice big windows, fireplace, dining room, etc. The room you'd be staying in is the biggest in the house, has beige walls, cream colored carpet, spacious closet. You have the option of it being furnished. The closet and bathroom are attached to the room. In all, it's a nice place that is just comfortable and beautiful. About me: student at UNC, personable, down-to-earth, work hard/play hard, and drama-free...I also have a roommate that attends NCSU, 25 years old...also very nice You'd be responsible for 425 + 1/3 of the utilities. I have pictures, but if you'd come by to see it, I think you'd have a better appreciation for it FEMALES ONLY!

discrimination is only illegal for the people renting it out i.e. landlord, not for people looking for roomates, right?

yeah, really-- you can decide who you want to live with-- you may only want to live with females because of a religious or moral stance, for instance. That is your perogative if it's your room to rent out. Now if you own an apt. complex and only rent to females or native americans or something, that's different.
