So the last few days I come home from work and my internet connection is always gone. Usually I leave Maxthon open with Gmail and Sportsline and other sites that autorefresh and I have a cable from my router plugged into my Slingbox.

Does this happen to anyone else or is something happening to make me lose my connection every day? It's pretty annoying because it takes the usability of Slingbox away and forces me to do a reset of my modem and router every day (unplugging for 30 seconds).

I'm not a network savvy person so I am calling to TWW for help...

Is it something on my end or just RR?

is it a modem/router or two separate pieces of equipment

we exchanged the modem/router for a modem and i bought a router and it fixed the problem. two components that strictly serve their own purpose just seem to run better than one component trying to do both

it's a twc supplied modem and a linksys router.

I had connection problems for about a week ending a few days ago. I'd lose internet for about 30 mins a couple times a day. It's fine now though.

i was having the same problems last week. I called cust. serv. and of course they gave me some bullshit explanation, but, after putting me on hold for about 5 minutes, she came back and said it should be fixed.

low and behold, it was, and i havent had a problems since.
