Ok, so i was on my way home today from work (15min Ride, Gas Stop, 25min Ride), and at the last stoplight before my house i was downshifting and braking, but when i downshifted into first at about 5 mphs and my rpms droped below 2k the bike just shut off. I was like WTF, i tried to restart it again and again....so here i am stuck in the turning lane saying " are u fuckin kiddin me".

I tired prob 10 more times, and nothing, i mean it was cranking but no gas or something...so i started playing with the throttle while starting and she finally started. I rode home keeping it above about 2k , but its still not starting without giving it gas. I'm taking it into the shop tomorrow, just wondering if this has happend to any of you, and wondering what it could be. I dont think its the gas, i got 93 from exxon that i normally buy gas for my car from...

Just pissed and confused...

its fuel injected so no clutch.... ok now i just walked into the garage to try it, and it started right up without doing anything

Weird, now i def have no clue what was causing that, my dad says vapor lock mabye...

the temp was 194 F when i shut it off, which is fine

had it been sitting out in the sun? maybe the heat caused the pressure in the gas tank

well im in WV, so they arent goin to be able to look at it. I'm taking it to the shop, i think i get there ok, just didn know if u guys had any tricks to prevent this is the future?
