Post results of what you are driving. I had a personal best of 19.3 on a 300 mile round trip Saturday in the Trooper.

17.8 MPG. Mostly city driving, maybe 20 miles of the 250 driven were highway miles.

I try to conserve momentum as much as I can.

'89 Dodge D350 with CUMMINS powrrr...

I'm averaging between 15.5 and 17.8...it depends on how hard I drive and how good the fuel is wherever I decide to fuel up.

Yes, quite often, where you get yer diesel fuel matters that much.

according to http://www.fueleconomy.gov

my BMW: 15 city / 24 highway / 18 average (pretty accurate so far)
the 4Runner: 15 city / 19 highway / 17 average (also accurate)
the Rover: 14 city / 14 highway / 14 average (haha)

I know the Olds gets 13 max. Everything takes (and gets) Premium gas but the Toyota.

I had been getting 16-17 on the highway maintaning 75+ mph. Pretty amaizing how 5-10 mph makes that big of a diffrence, even on a 4 cyl. I would like to see 20+ out of a tank on a trip but I dont think I have the will power to drive 60-65.

f350 crew cab dually 4wd w/ 7.3 powerstroke. i average 15-16 around town, pushing it pretty hard. highway it gets 17-18 pushing hard also.

i basically never drive like grandma, so i have no idea what it's capable of for a max. it tips the scales somewhere in the neighborhood of 9-10k lbs., gotta love a diesel. it does have a full banks kit which helps out some.

^^have you ever seen a 1st gen. trooper? they're basically flying bricks, not to mention carry a very poor power to weight ratio requiring near constant flogging...

usually 28-30mpg on the highway and 24-26 around town.

however my last tank only gave me back 20mpg (!!!) and that was mostly around town and zipping onto the freeway for 1-2 stops (lots of hard accel)
