Hey,

Was wondering if anybody had a carb syn. gauge i could borrow or help me out in getting my bike tuned up right. Thanks

I do it the African way using a piece of vacuum tubing ...one end in the carb intake, one end in my ear. Fiddle around until they all hiss the same.

Of course, that's not the most accurate, but it works.

I don't have a set of gauges any more.

long clear tube, attached to a broom or yard stick, filled about a foot and a half with transmission fluid, or oil. Play until the levels are the same.

thanks but what keeps the fluid from being pulled into the engine? is there not enough vacumm to pull 1.5 ft of fluid

go buy a mity vac at autozone, 20 buck, has a vacuum gauge, also has a vacuum pump. Both very useful tools.
