I have a Tippmann Model 98 that I bought a few years back, and I have since upgraded nearly every part of the gun. I know I'm going to get some flack about a Model 98 but it really is a great gun. It is very well built, very simple and RELIABLE. So, let's get to the goodies. My favorite is the 16" Dye Boomstick (for great accuracy). I've replaced the stock bolt and powertube with the Billet Aluminum counterparts. I've upgraded to the expansion chamber kit for more consistent CO2. I have switched to microline hose from the tank to the expansion chamber. I have a sealed side bolt system to prevent dirt from getting inside the gun. I have a rear velocity adjuster. All of these parts are already installed, and the stock parts will also come with it. I haven't used this gun very much, and have cleaned and re-lubed everything after every use. It has just been sitting in the basement of my parents house for the past couple years. I also have a 20 oz. CO2 tank, several O-rings and spare parts, all the original literature that came with it, a neck protector for the weak of neck, a JT mask with visor, a harness with two pods that holds 200-300 rounds (I forget how big they are), all the tools necessary to completely assemble the gun, and of course a hopper too.
As I said, I jsut havent used this and was wondering what I could get for it, if anyone was interested. I don't have any pictures becuase it is in Greensboro, but if there is interest, I could get some up pretty quickly. Post on here if you are interested, but also PM me for a quicker response.

You're probably right, my brother will probably end up buying it from me for ~ $150, I just wanted to see if there was any interest here. I've been out of the sport for so long I don't really know the trends. I never really liked speedball nearly as much as woods. 7/27/2006 12:41:29 PM |
